What they wanted.

The team at Pup & Kit asked us to rethink and redefine the design of pet furniture products so they blend seamlessly into the home environment.

What we did.

Working closely with the founder, we produced several sketch concept iterations for a bedside pet bed for discussion and selection. The chosen concepts were taken forward for further development in CAD. The CAD models were then used to produce photorealistic visuals for presentations and marketing mock-ups. We used a Builder Extreme 3D printer to make full size prototypes for real world functionality and visual testing.

What we achieved.

Following the approval/sign-off of prototypes, we then produced detailed manufactured drawings of each component ready for the factory to make a selection of pre-production prototypes. This involved the production of mould tools, CNC cut parts and machined parts. In addition, we created detailed assembly artwork diagrams for an instruction manual and outline diagrams for the packaging. Finally, we produced high resolution CGI visuals of the final product for marketing use and assisted with the studio photo-shoot.
